Lene Hall (born Sherrylene Hall) is from the island of Barbados and has been a staple for all of the top fashion houses and cosmetic companies since the start of her career.
Getting her early start on the island, she modeled throughout highschool, but it was only when a NY agent was scouting in Barbados, and he approached Lene at work and encouraged her to come to New York and meet with agencies that she would have her chance on the international fashion stage. Things moved very quickly for Lene and on her first interview with an agency, she was signed on the spot and sent directly for her first casting at "Prescriptive by Estée Lauder." Remarkably, she landed the contract, becoming the face of Prescriptive for the next year. Lene has walked the runway for fashion weeks in New York, London, Paris, Milan, Jamaica and South Africa for notable designers such as Ralph Lauren, Ralph Rucci, Naeem Khan, B Michaels, Ellen Tracey, and numerous European couture houses. In addition to Esteé Lauder, she has been the face of major campaigns for Revlon, Oil of Olay, Noxzema, Lubriderm, Kohler, Vaniqua, and Lafayette 148.
Lene is one of a rare group of top models that has been signed to five major cosmetic campaigns.
Hall has been photographed for Harper's Bazaar, Spanish Vogue, Elle, Oprah, Marie Claire, and Essence. She is the cover model of legendary makeup artist Sam Fine's book " Fine Beauty."
American Photo magazine declared Hall one of the top 10 up-and-coming models to watch when she first came onto the scene. She has worked with some of the greatest names in photography - from Herb Ritz, Bruce Weber and Keith Major just to name a few.
Hall gives freely of her time to charities to help in their cause to raise funds, in Barbados and internationally, including Jamaica and Africa. She also took part in the NY fashion industry's charity event for the victims of September 11. Her philosophy is that she has received so much that one should pass it on to those who have not had the opportunities she has been afforded in life.
She is currently under contract with Major Model Management in NYC and Miami and by Fusion Model Management in Cape Town.
